Career
I’m currently retired from full-time work, but I spent most of my career at Minnesota Public Radio, where I worked my way from the control room to the newsroom. Among other things, I have covered state politics, city halls, the environment, education and sports.
My roles there have included:

In the middle of my career, I spent 18 months covering Minnesota politics for the Associated Press. The period included the extraordinary election of former professional wrestler Jesse Ventura to the governor’s office.
